Abstract

The Italian saint and educator Luigi Guanella (1842–1915) carried out significant pedagogical and social work focused on the inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as all those living on the social and existential margins. His approach and legacy, still relevant today, represent a renewed educational vision that consistently places the defense of human dignity and the integral development of the person at the center of his work.

Asimismo, es doctora con mención internacional por la Universidad Pontificia Comillas (2025) con la tesis titulada: La propuesta pedagógica de la Compañía de Jesús para la educación universitaria. Claves de la pedagogía ignaciana en Diego de Ledesma y Peter-Hans Kolvenbach. Ha colaborado en diversos proyectos de investigación relacionados con la historia de la Compañía de Jesús, la pedagogía ignaciana y la innovación docente.
