Immigration and labor incorporation
Abstract
The neomarxist historical-structural perspective analyses the inmigrant settlements in its variety and related to the continually changing circumstances in the receptive societies. The economic adaptation of the inmigrants in the receptive society presents a plurality of results that is shown in several modes of laboral incorporation. From this theoretical perspective, the contextual variables and the ones related to the inmigrant group are analysed. These variables interact in the creation of the different types of laboral insertion.
