Five Decades (1922-1969) of Biblical Hermeneutics in the Review «Estudios Eclesiásticos»

Taking into account the first five decades of the Review Estudios Eclesiásticos, the author gathers chronologically those biblical articles, notes and bulletins that implicit or explicitly treated the question of biblical hermeneutics: inspiration, historicity and biblical truth, literal and spiritual senses, etc. The aim is to show how these questions, present in the international biblical scholarship and in the Catholic Churches magisterial declarations, were received, assumed and developed in a purpose of fidelity of the review, both to ecclesiastical teachings and to scientific research of the Scripture.
