Teacher training goes beyond professional and conceptual updating; it is a comprehensive process that combines pedagogical skills with human skills and values such as empathy, sensitivity, and ethical commitment. Drawing on Ignatian pedagogy and Paulo Freire's popular education, the teacher ceases to be a mere transmitter of knowledge and becomes a companion who walks alongside their students, fostering critical thinking, values, and social awareness. The creation of a network of educators helps to strengthen their work. Therefore, teacher training transforms the educator into an agent of change.
