El factor religioso en la conflictividad balcánica

La confrontación bélica que desangró a la antigua Yugoslavia tuvo componentes históricos y étnicos indiscutibles. Pero ¿qué papel desempeñó el factor religioso en este complejo conflicto? El autor abordó esta dimensión del problema remontándose a los orígenes de las religiones asentadas entre las poblaciones serbia, croata y eslovena. Desde esta perspectiva, trató de comprender mejor el componente fanático presente en el conflicto.
