Abstract

El interés permanente suscitado por la figura de Jesús se veía avalado por una cadena ininterrumpida de escritos dedicados a él, desde el Nuevo Testamento hasta la actualidad. El objetivo de este artículo se centraba en la cristología eclesial. Limitando su atención a los avances cristológicos posteriores al Concilio Vaticano II, el autor examinó la dimensión cristológica del Concilio, las cristologías mesiánicas, la universalidad de Cristo en relación con las demás religiones y la conveniencia de deshelenizar la cristología para hacerla más inteligible a la cultura contemporánea.
