Además del estudio sobre la situación de México publicado en ese número, la revista reunía diversos documentos de la Compañía de Jesús relacionados con los ataques al obispo Samuel Ruiz y el conflicto surgido en Chiapas. Entre ellos figuraban una carta de los jesuitas mexicanos, un comunicado de apoyo a la labor pastoral de Samuel Ruiz, una declaración del provincial de los jesuitas sobre el conflicto y unas reflexiones sobre la guerrilla chiapaneca. Con su publicación, la revista pretendía ofrecer elementos de reflexión para un análisis riguroso de las causas de la situación mexicana.
