Abstract

Las reacciones ante la encíclica Veritatis Splendor se habían polarizado entre el rechazo y la alabanza. Dado que era la primera vez que un papa publicaba un documento de tal rango sobre los fundamentos de la moral, el texto requería una acogida respetuosa y una reflexión serena. En este contexto, el artículo de Peter Knauer, publicado simultáneamente en Stimmen der Zeit y revisado por su autor para la versión castellana, ofrecía una aportación al debate suscitado por la encíclica.
