La polémica de la inteligencia artificial

Los últimos avances de las ciencias física y matemática ha suscitado en algunos científicos la cuestión de una posible máquina pensante. En esta controversia reciente sobre la viabilidad de una inteligencia artificial marcó un hito Alan Turing en 1950 con su afirmación rotunda, siendo rebatido un decenio después por J. R. Lucas con su negativa absoluta. Posteriormente, también los filósofos se han sumado a la polémica. En el momento en el que se escribió este estudio, los defensores y detractores del ordenador pensante se apoyan respectivamente en el carácter algorítmico o no del pensamiento.
