Este comentario refleja las inquietudes, reflexiones y búsquedas del autor ante la dificultad práctica de transitar por la Iglesia y por la sociedad civil sin que perdieran autonomía y significación ni su condición de creyente ni su condición de ciudadano. Redactado en primera persona, el texto analiza el dilema presencia-mediación las coincidencias y las discrepancias, contribuyendo a la clarificación de un debate necesario.
