El aborto en el nuevo Código

El comentario se hace eco del envío a las Cortes del proyecto del nuevo Código Penal, denominado «Código de la Democracia», que supuso una ampliación de los tres supuestos de despenalización del aborto ya admitidos en 1985 por la llamada «Ley del aborto». La reacción de la Iglesia católica fue inmediata: numerosos obispos españoles expresaron su rechazo a esta ampliación, mientras que el Comité Episcopal para la Defensa de la Vida, integrado mayoritariamente por laicos creyentes, manifestó también sus críticas al proyecto.
