A new tak on the "new atheism"

Without realizing it, we are living in a time in which a new kind of atheism seems to have broken all the bridges of dialogue with religion and its theologians. The irrationality of all religious beliefs, the new atheists argue, and the lack of coherence of many believers and many of their ministers and priests, make all faith impossible. The new atheists start from a methodology whose essence consists in criticizing religion without understanding it. This article offers from rationality and theological tradition, from the human imagination and from negative theology, channels for an always necessary dialogue between believers and non-believers.
