Abstract

El autor analiza los aspectos característicos de la tauromaquia. Lo define como un arte difícil, dinámico y cromático, que supera patéticamente el riesgo mortal y alcanza con frecuencia una sublime emoción estética. Aunque admite también la existencia de elementos de crueldad, lances cruentos en el acoso al toro y un sadismo ocasional por parte de un público exigente. En resumen, la polémica taurina quedará siempre abierta.
