1492-1992. De la «duda indiana» a la «angustia latinoamericana»

La llamada «duda indiana» llevó a los antepasados a reconocer la posible injusticia de la invasión y conquista de América, aunque posteriormente esta realidad se justificara mediante apelaciones a las buenas intenciones y a sus supuestos efectos beneficiosos. En contraste, la contemporánea «angustia latinoamericana» surgió del conocimiento profundo de la realidad de América Latina. Desde esta perspectiva, se asumió la dificultad de considerar infundadas las causas que alimentaban esa angustia y se afrontó la complejidad de una problemática histórica y social profundamente arraigada.
